The customer had a couple of vintage dog transport cages dating back to the 1930's that were missing the handles. He had one of the original handles and had been trying to get someone to copy them. We took the old ones apart and used them as a base pattern, but we had to make up the bits that were missing. The result was as close to the original as possible, but made from a much better quality leather and finish.
